US-based adhesives manufacturer H.B. Fuller has inaugurated a new production site in the United Arab Emirates. The facility in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone is set to serve regional demand for adhesives and sealants in the construction sector and aims to strengthen supply chains across the MENA region.
In early June, H.B. Fuller officially opened a new manufacturing facility in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), located in the United Arab Emirates. The investment marks a key step in the company’s expansion strategy across the Middle East and North Africa. The 15,000 m² site in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone features modern process control systems, advanced mixing equipment and large-scale storage tanks.
According to the company, the facility is specifically designed for the production of high-performance adhesives and sealants for construction applications — including building envelopes, roofing, infrastructure and mechanical systems — with flexibility to scale operations in the future.
Strategic location and regional focus
Celeste Mastin, President and CEO of H.B. Fuller, highlighted the facility’s strategic role in improving customer service across the region. Manufacturing “in the region for the region” reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the MENA market and its dynamic construction sector.
RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad also emphasised the significance of the opening, noting that manufacturing accounts for approximately 30?% of Ras Al Khaimah’s GDP. H.B. Fuller’s investment signals international confidence in the emirate as a manufacturing base. RAKEZ offers tailored support services, fast-track set-up processes and a pro-business environment to help global companies thrive in the region.
