The New R&D Building of CQV Has Been Officially Put Into Operation, Accelerating the Global High-end Materials Strategic Layout of Global New Material International

HZ info:CQV, the South Korean subsidiary of Global New Material International(06616.HK), held the opening ceremony of its new R&D building on July 4, 2025, marking the beginning of CQV 3.0 Era and another key implementation of GNMI’s “Materials + Innovation + All scenarios” strategy in the global R&D system. As the first upgraded R&D facility project after GNMI's acquisition of CQV, the new building will focus on technological breakthroughs in weather-resistant and cosmetic-grade high-performance surface materials, further consolidating CQV's technological and brand advantages in the global high-end materials market.

Su Ertian, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global New Material International, delivered congratulations and remarks via video in Shanghai. Kwang Su Lin,CQV Representative Director,Sung Gi Jung,Executive Director of CQV, Byoung Gi Choi,Executive Director of CQV, Yang Ho Lee, Managing Director of CQV, Su Zhile,GNMI Chairman’s representative, as well as guests from GNMI headquarters, CQV's major customers, dealers, partners, local government officials and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jincheon, attended the event together. 

The new R&D building, with its distinctive appearance featuring colored BIPV photovoltaic panels, integrates green energy, intelligent manufacturing and architectural aesthetics, fully demonstrating CQV's deep commitment to sustainable development. Inside the building, there are multiple fully functional cutting-edge research and development units that can achieve full-chain synergy from basic scientific research to large-scale industrial application, accelerating the commercialization of new materials. This is not just an improvement in infrastructure, but a reflection of CQV's long-term strategy of "growth driven by research and development".

"This is not just the completion of an engineering project, but the full launch of the CQV 3.0 Era," Su Ertian said in his speech. CQV 3.0 will achieve all-round innovation from materials technology to global synergy and become one of the irreplaceable “core engines” in GNMI's global innovation system."
