Adhesion Promoter Xiyuan 2061H is a phosphate ester with a polyester main chain. Due to the ability of phosphate esters to bond with metal surfaces, it can improve the adhesion of paints to metal substrates and enhance the flexibility and corrosion resistance of the paint film. It is applied to waterborne and Oil based baking primers or one-step coating paints.

Main Properties

Significantly improves the adhesion of the paint film to non-ferrous metal surfaces.

Greatly enhances the ductility and impact resistance of the paint film.

Does not discolor under high-temperature rapid baking and does not affect paint stability.

Does not affect the weather resistance of the coating film.

Significantly improves water and salt spray resistance.

The baking paint added with 2061H has good repaintability and storage stability, and is not easy to gel.

Usage Method

Can be added at any stage of production.

Note the baking temperature, time and dosage as the reactions of alkyd (polyester), acrylic and amino resins are different.

Dosage: 2-5% of the total amount; can be added at any stage of production (it is best to add after neutralizing with DMEA in waterborne systems); pay attention to the baking temperature, time and dosage due to different reactions of alkyd/polyester/acrylic and amino resins.

Storage Conditions

Keep away from heat and fire sources. Store in a cool and ventilated place with the container tightly closed. The storage environment is 0℃ to 40℃.
