2025-07-03 08:51
ROSS line of High Shear Mixers caters to multiple industries, including coatings and specialty chemical manufacturing.
Engineered for a wide range of industrial applications, the ROSS line of High Shear Mixers caters to multiple industries including adhesives, cosmetics, coatings, and specialty chemical manufacturing. Customizable for atmospheric, vacuum and pressure conditions, these machines are ideal for solid-liquid mixing, particle size reduction, homogenization, and emulsification applications.
The ROSS HSM-100LH-3 is equipped with a 2.5″ diameter rotor/stator head that allows particles to be sheared and expelled at a high velocity into the surrounding mix, breaking up agglomerates and producing fine dispersions.
The 10-gallon working capacity mix vessel is constructed of stainless steel type 316 and is designed for operation under vacuum conditions up to 29.5″Hg. It includes a 50-psig stainless steel type 304 jacket on the sides and bottom for heating/cooling, as well as a vacuum cover assembly with built-in sight/charge ports.
The dished bottom features a centrally located 1″ flush tank ball valve with tri-clover connection which promotes easy and complete discharge of the finished product. A transport cover is provided to clamp onto the vessel when not in use and four casters along with push-pull handles make transportation of the mix vessel convenient on the production floor.
A ROSS SysCon user-friendly custom control panel with touch screen display provides precise speed control, load monitoring, and cycle timing capabilities. Safety limit switches prevent operation while the mixing head is raised or when the mixing vessel is not properly positioned to prevent hazardous situations.
