PARSIPPANY, N.J., USA ¨C July 7, 2025 ¨C Sun Chemical has launched a third bold effect pigment this year to add to its Chione Electric product line, under the ¡°Beauty is colorful. We are the color experts.¡± campaign.

Created with patented technology for the cosmetics industry, Chione Electric Amber SB90D is a highly chromatic synthetic mica-based effect pigment in a shimmering amber hue. This new product joins the renowned Chione Electric line of metallic-like effect pigments which was first introduced in 2019 with the award-winning Chione Electric Fuchsia SF90D. Sun Chemical launched two additional effect pigments as part of the Chione Electric line earlier this year at in-cosmetics Global 2025¡ªChione Electric Scarlet SR90D and Chione Electric Sienna SC90D.

Made with globally approved color additives for cosmetics, Chione Electric Amber SB90D gives formulators easy-to-use solutions for developing vegan beauty products in bright, bold shades for cosmetics, skin and sun care. Additional formulation benefits of the Chione Electric product line include enhanced chroma, UV stability, as well as non-staining and non-bleeding properties.
