Kuraray Announced Price Revisions for GENESTAR™ Heat-resistant Polyamide Resin

Kuraray announces its decision to revise the price of GENESTAR™ heat-resistant polyamide resin in all regions, effective for shipments on or after September 1, 2025.
121.pngIncreasing raw material prices, logistics costs, and labor expenses for the products have reached to the level beyond unilaterally absorbable by self-saving efforts.

Under these circumstances, we have decided to implement the following price revisions to ensure ongoing supply and maintain product quality.

1. Scope of revision

All extrusion grades of GENESTAR™ heat-resistant polyamide resin

2. Effective date

Shipments on or after September 1, 2025

3. Price increase

Japan    +200 JPY/kg
Outside Japan    +1.50 USD/kg

GENESTAR™ is a heat-resistant polyamide engineering plastic developed from a unique monomer. Properties of GENESTAR™ include low water absorption, high heat resistance, high chemical resistance and dimensional precision.
