U.S. crude oil inventories unexpectedly increased and international oil prices continued to fall

Wednesday (September 18) New York Mercantile Futures Exchange West Texas Light Oil futures settled at $58.11 a barrel in October 2019, down $1.23, or 2.1%, from the previous trading day, with a trading range of $57.67-59.43; London Intercontinental Exchange Brent Crude Oil futures settled at $63.60 a barrel in November 2019, down from the previous trading day. It fell $0.95, or 1.5%, to $63.04-64.99.
