WTI crude oil rose 21.5% in the year as demand and trade outlook improved

U.S. employment growth was better than expected, while China-U.S. trade outlook was optimistic and crude oil demand outlook improved. Crude oil futures in Europe and the United States rose on Monday, while Brent crude oil futures hit the highest level in more than five weeks.

Monday (November 4) New York Mercantile futures exchange West Texas light oil futures settlement price in December 2019 was $56.54 per barrel, up 0.34 USD / barrel, up 0.6% from the previous trading day, with trading range of $55.83-57.43 USD / barrel; London Intercontinental Exchange Brent crude oil futures settlement price in January 2019 was $62.13 per barrel, up 0.44 USD / barrel, up 0.7% from the previous trading day, trading area Room 61.28-62.78 USD / barrel.

As of November 4, WTI crude oil closed 21.5% higher than the closing price on January 2 this year, while Brent crude oil rose 13.1%, according to the data tracked by the Ibuychem.
