Sodium Sulfate of Isotridecyl Alcohol Ethoxylate (3), also known as DNS-325S, with CAS number 25446-78-0, is an anionic surfactant.

Product Features

In daily necessities, it can be compatible with anions, cations, and most amphoteric compounds, providing rich foam, excellent cleansing power, and electrolyte stability. It is commonly used in the production of cosmetics and detergents due to its mild nature that is gentle on the skin.

In emulsion polymerization, it can be used as an emulsifier and stabilizer to effectively control the size of latex particles. It is used in systems such as vinyl acetate, chloroethylene, acrylic esters, styrene, and styrene-acrylic to meet the requirements of stability and wash resistance of polymers. It has good compatibility with many natural and synthetic resins and can be used as a dispersant.

Biodegradability and Environmental Protection

The product is not classified as environmentally hazardous by the state. This product can degrade completely through biological processes.

 

Health and Safety

Under normal industrial operating conditions, low doses of DNS-325S surfactant do not pose a risk to human health. However, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided in case of excessive exposure.

 

Storage and Handling

Store the product in a cool, ventilated area. It should be stored above 15 to prevent gelation and below 50 to prevent hydrolysis. If gelation occurs due to low temperature or dispersion loss, warm above room temperature or add a suitable amount of water for stirring treatment; the quality of the product will not change due to solidification. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.

Containers made of calcium plastic materials (PP, PE, etc.), enamel, stainless steel, and other materials are suitable for storing and processing the product. When tightly sealed, it can be stored for over a year at temperatures below 30.
