Brenntag, the global market leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients, today announced the acquisition of Lawrence Industries, a leading independent speciality distributor in the UK. This acquisition strengthens Brenntag’s position in the Material Science and Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE), Construction, Polymer and Rubber sectors.
Established more than 50 years ago, Lawrence Industries is a technically orientated, independent distributor of speciality chemicals based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The company supplies high quality additives, minerals and catalysts to a wide range of markets in the UK and Ireland. The company generated a turnover of around £30 million in 2023.
