IMCD has inaugurated a new coatings and construction laboratory in Vienna, Austria, dedicated to advancing decorative paints and industrial coatings. This new facility aims to bolster IMCD’s support for partners in Southeast Europe (SEE).

Beyond functioning as a laboratory, the Vienna facility will also serve as a training hub for both customers and employees. It includes an analytical area, a testing zone, and a spraying chamber for applying finished formulations. Johann Milchram, managing director of IMCD SEE, said: “Our focus is on creating sustainable and innovative solutions that meet local market standards. Several formulation projects have already shown added value for our partners in the Southeast European region.”
