Evonik Receives Platinum Rating for Sustainability from EcoVadis

Evonik ranks among the top one percent of companies rated by EcoVadis in the past 12 months.
EcoVadis has awarded
Evonik a platinum rating for its achievements in sustainability. The specialty chemicals company thus ranks among the top one percent of companies rated by EcoVadis in the past 12 months.
"The platinum award from EcoVadis reflects the quality of our sustainability management system and demonstrates our commitment to transparency throughout the value chain," said Thomas Wessel, chief human resources officer and labor director at Evonik and member of the Executive Board responsible for sustainability at Evonik. "We are continuously advancing the topic together with our stakeholders."
The "EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment" looks at the sustainability performance of companies in the dimensions of "environment", "labor and human rights", "ethics" and "sustainable procurement."
