According to monitoring data from the Chemical Plastics Research Institute, the coating purchase cost index in December 2024 was 81%, up 1 percentage point from the previous month and down 6 percentage points from the same period in 2023. Looking at the trend in 2024, the paint purchase cost index has shown low fluctuations throughout the year, with the index value in November being at the lowest level in the past eight years.
