SMF-HV2 additive is a purified, nanometer modified and viscosity improved montmorillonite clay. It is off-white, soft, nonpoisonous and tasteless. Because of excellent expansibility, gel dispersing ability, suspension, thickening and thixotropic performance, it can be used as anti-settling agent, latex stabilizer and Rheology Modifier in water based system. Besides, it also has the property of good absorption, iron exchange and cohesive in water based system.

Pregel usage: SMF-HV2 is slowly added to water with 25-30℃ temperature with constant mixing, increase the mix speed to 1500-2000rpm for 20-30min to avoid clumping and reach full dispersing. Then place it for 8-12h for use. Put this gel into the whole system with constant mixing until complete dispersing (pre-dispersing concentration of montmorillonite clay in water is 5%). Using pregel has better performance than add powder directly.

Packing and storage

Outer package is leather bag, with inner package of two layers of polyethylene film, or paper bag. Standard quantity is 25±0.25kg or customization. Stored in dry and ventilated places under the temperature of 0-30℃. Shelf life: 24monthes.
